Join us as we grow together through thoughtful, faith-centered reading and conversation. Throughout the year, our Book Club selects books that deepen our understanding of Scripture, strengthen our discipleship, and encourage us in everyday Christian living.

Our monthly selections are primarily geared toward adults, offering meaningful opportunities to reflect, ask questions, and engage with faith in a deeper way. August 2026: The Way of the Wildflower

A 30-day devotional organized around five themes drawn from wildflowers: dependency, freedom, resilience, unhurriedness, and belovedness. Each meditation pairs Scripture with a short reflection, prayer, and practical application. The book focuses especially on worry, weariness, control, and learning to trust God’s provision and care in everyday life.

September 2026: No More Boring Bible Study

A practical introduction to reading and studying the Bible for people who sometimes find Scripture confusing, intimidating, or difficult to apply. Faith Womack shares approachable study methods while addressing some of the guilt and assumptions Christians can carry around Bible reading. Expect a mix of personal story, biblical context, and concrete tools for understanding Scripture more thoughtfully on your own.

October 2026: On the Brink of Everything: Grace, Gravity, and Getting Old

A collection of essays, reflections, and poetry about aging and what it means to live well as we grow older. Palmer looks back on eight decades of life to explore questions of purpose, regret, mortality, relationships, and what we owe younger generations. Rather than offering a formula for aging, the book invites reflection and conversation about accepting the past, staying engaged in the present, and approaching the future with openness.

December 2026: Advent in Plain Sight

A daily devotional for Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany that explores the biblical story through ten ordinary objects—including gates, trees, cloth, light, and water. Each day includes a Scripture passage, reflection, and prayer connecting one of these familiar objects to the story of Christ’s coming. The book encourages readers to pay closer attention to the ordinary and consider where God may already be present in everyday life.
