book club

Join us as we grow together through thoughtful, faith-centered reading and conversation. Throughout the year, our Book Club selects books that deepen our understanding of Scripture, strengthen our discipleship, and encourage us in everyday Christian living. Some selections are geared toward adults, while others invite the whole family to read and learn together.

Whether you are a longtime member or simply exploring faith, Book Club is a welcoming space to reflect, ask questions, and discover how God’s Word shapes our lives. Each month’s selection is linked below.

We work with you to come up with the very best solutions for your challenges!

January 2026: Deep Roots Family Devotional

Deep Roots is for any parent that wants to encourage weekly family bible study with your kids. This family devotional is designed to facilitate parenting with scripture to help grow in your faith together, have family worship, and teach your children how God wants us to live our lives.

February 2026: Changing Our Minds

Christian denominations and churches everywhere struggle with the issue of LGBTQ inclusion. With growing scientific evidence, our wider society has taken big steps, but too many religious families and communities have not kept up. Dr. David Gushee offers a powerful, inspiring message of hope and healing by helping Christians to return to Bible study, prayer, and reflection in a way that creates a vision for a more inclusive church.

March 2026: Better Ways to Read the Bible

As a pastor for more than ten years, Zach Lambert has seen the Bible used countless times as something far from the "Good Book"--both in his own life and in the experiences of others. He has seen the Bible weaponized to subjugate women, justify racism, bash LGBTQ+ people, cover up abuse, and exclude people who speak out against these injustices.

April 2026: A is for Alabaster

Beloved preacher and writer Anna Carter Florence brings winsome insight to an array of characters and stories in the Bible—some celebrated and some overlooked. From courageous Abigail to Zelophehad’s daughters, and from an alabaster jar of ointment to Zacchaeus in the sycamore tree, Florence takes readers on an enchanting tour of the Old and New Testaments with reflections that reveal ancient wisdom and spark imagination anew.

Summer 2026 Family Book Club: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Four siblings step through a mysterious wardrobe and into the magical Narnia, a once-peaceful land now frozen in snow and stone by the cruelty of the evil White Witch. Only the return of the Great Lion, Aslan, can put an end to the White Witch’s tyranny and restore peace.
