Children’s & Family Ministries
At First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, we partner with families to help children grow in faith and experience God’s love.
Each week, children are welcomed into a safe, caring, and engaging environment where they can explore Bible stories, ask questions, and connect their faith to everyday life. Through age-appropriate teaching, hands-on activities, and meaningful relationships, we help children experience God’s love in ways they can understand.
We believe children are an important part of our church family, and we are committed to creating a space where every child feels known, valued, and excited to be here.

This Month in Children’s Ministry
This month, we're excited to kick off a new year in Kids Zone! Join us on Sunday, September 20 for Rally Day as we celebrate the start of our 2026–2027 Children's Ministry year.
Following worship, families are invited to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our newly renovated Kids Zone, with a community tour to follow. We can't wait to welcome everyone back into our refreshed space as we begin a new year of faith, friendships, and exciting lessons together.
This marks our first Sunday back in our newly renovated Kids Zone, and we look forward to all that God has in store for the year ahead.

Each week, children are welcomed into a caring and engaging environment where they can learn about God, build friendships, and grow in faith. Through Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and special events, we create meaningful experiences for children and families to connect and grow together.
Whether you’re new or have been visiting for a while, there is a place for your family here. No registration is required—families are always welcome to join us.

October Trunk or Treat! 🎃
Mark your calendars for
Saturday, October 24, from 9:00AM–12:00PM! One of our favorite Kids Zone events returns this fall with decorated trunks, treats, games, and plenty of fun for children and families. Watch for more details coming soon!
Family Book Club
Reading together gives families a meaningful way to grow in faith, spark conversation, and explore God’s truth through story. Throughout the year, our Family Book Club features engaging books that children and adults can enjoy together, with themes of faith, courage, hope, and what it means to follow God.
Whether reading aloud as a family or alongside one another, we invite you to discover new stories, ask questions, and grow together along the way.
