The First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston is blessed with an incredible children’s and family ministry, dedicated to helping our kids learn who they are as children of God through welcoming and inclusive programs.
The kids’ smiles and laughter as they run and play after worship shows just how much they feel loved and nurtured by everyone in our congregation. Each member has been intentional in building a welcoming place for children and families. We are the family of God, and we are so grateful to our members for helping to nurture the next generation of disciples.
our programs include:
- Sunday School: Held during our worship service, our Sunday School classes offer engaging enrichment for children aged 11 and under.
- Vacation Bible School: Volunteers for our free Vacation Bible School help to create an amazing experience for children in our congregation and community.
- Teens Workshops: Our weekly mindfulness workshop for teens aged 13-17 helps teens learn techniques to manage stress and find stillness, which can help them in every aspect of their lives.

If you enjoy working with kids, you can help us create a welcoming, faith-filled environment for children and families through our church’s Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and other special events. Our growing Sunday School is always in need of teachers. Even if you can only help one Sunday a month, it can make a real difference. You can be part of a team that works to build a strong foundation of faith for the next generation.
