Children’s & Family Ministries
At First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, we partner with families to help children grow in faith and experience God’s love.
Each week, children are welcomed into a safe, caring, and engaging environment where they can explore Bible stories, ask questions, and connect their faith to everyday life. Through age-appropriate teaching, hands-on activities, and meaningful relationships, we help children experience God’s love in ways they can understand.
We believe children are an important part of our church family, and we are committed to creating a space where every child feels known, valued, and excited to be here.

This Month in Children’s Ministry
This month,
Kids Zone is celebrating our children! As we continue a new year of Sunday School, we’re excited to recognize the many gifts, personalities, and faith our children bring to our church family.
On
Sunday, October 25, we’ll celebrate each child in a special worship service and invite the whole congregation to join us. We’ll also celebrate with a simple invitation:
wear orange as we show our children just how much they are loved and valued at First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston.
We’re excited for another month of learning, growing, and sharing in the life of our church together.

Each week, children are welcomed into a caring and engaging environment where they can learn about God, build friendships, and grow in faith. Through Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and special events, we create meaningful experiences for children and families to connect and grow together.
Whether you’re new or have been visiting for a while, there is a place for your family here. No registration is required—families are always welcome to join us.

Family Book Club
Reading together gives families a meaningful way to grow in faith, spark conversation, and explore God’s truth through story. Throughout the year, our Family Book Club features engaging books that children and adults can enjoy together, with themes of faith, courage, hope, and what it means to follow God.
Whether reading aloud as a family or alongside one another, we invite you to discover new stories, ask questions, and grow together along the way.
